Responding to client needs, Signature Spaces has created a simple, 3 stage, flexible approach to architectural planning and interior design:

Stage One-Listening to your needs and desires: After meeting you and learning about your project, Craig works to understand your needs, aspirations and desires by asking you to fill out some fun survey forms that help you explore a range of design possibilities. It’s important that you be involved in the design process, learning what inspires you so you can make more informed decisions. Discussing the survey sheets together is an insightful learning experience that takes just a couple of hours. We make sure you are heard. Cost depends on scope of project, starting at $325.

Stage Two-Designing within your budget: Once you feel comfortable that we have listened to your needs and desires, you choose a target investment budget and we create concept plans for your project that satisfy your budget. If construction costs are expected for the project, we ask our trusted building partner, Bauman Builders, to attach prices to these plans. We can also survey your home to appraise you of expected and often unexpected construction costs. We typically save our clients money in this stage by designing to maximize impact with lowest construction costs. We present you with the concept plans and a site survey report (if requested). Costs depend on scope of project, and often our costs are offset by suggesting design alternatives that greatly reduce construction costs.

Stage Three-Detailing your design using your Body Signature: You choose the concept plan that excites you most, and Signature Spaces will then detail it for you. Still working with your budget, we then select finishes, fixtures, appliances, trim, doors, etc., for your project and a create a Design Book that catalogs the entire design for your review.

We start this third stage by reviewing your Body Signature with you, usually the most wonderful part of the design journey. Your Body Signature analysis will consist of us recording your natural coloring, shape, textures, scale, proportions and personality. Using the system pioneered by the Body Beautiful Company, we will then use your Body Signature to design your home to be a true reflection of you. Many design firms claim they design for you; we make that claim real by styling your home to fit you perfectly. We finish Stage Three by delivering a Design Book of all the purchased items included in your project, construction plans sent to plan check, and a fixed cost construction bid. You’ll be ready to build and know exactly what you’re getting, all within your budget. Guaranteed!
