What is the Body Signature?

To create homes that fit their clients’ look , feel and style, Signature Spaces uses the Body Signature™ system, a revolutionary method pioneered by the Body Beautiful Company, to capture a client’s colors, shape, scale, proportion, textures and personality and reflect it in that client’s home. Like choosing clothes that fit correctly and look right, your designer will choose stylefinishes and furnishings that fit and look right for your body and personality.

A tall, narrow rectangular man will naturally feel at home with raised ceilings, tall proportioned windows and doors, and rectangular furniture with few curves. A woman with an indented waist and a wavy silhouette will gravitate toward diagonal lamp shades, curves in trim, door knobs and furniture.  Your body shape affects our choice of shapes in the home.

A woman with an outgoing, friendly personality will find toasted colors suit her. Those with lively, bouncy energy will resonate with tinted (light or pastel) colors. Dramatic, passionate folks, or those who carry natural authority, may feel more at home in shaded colors. Your personality determines the resonance of color used on walls, in furniture, trim and fixture colors.

Designers who are not trained in the Body Signature system create homes using a developed style that likely doesn’t fit you.
